Training

Training courses for everyone

It is hoped that the PCDV model will have a regional scope. For this reason, different activities are planned so that all organizations working in the same region have the opportunity to develop a coherent understanding and a common language to address the problem of domestic violence.

The implementation comprises three distinct training programs:

The PCDV tool training presents a tool for assessing domestic violence and allows for the integration of concrete assessment practices.

PCDV training helps teams understand domestic violence, assess its impact on families, and develop appropriate intervention practices.

The PCDV training for lawyers teaches the legal application of the model in the context of youth protection in the face of domestic violence.

It is always possible to schedule a presentation of the model for organizations considering implementation. These meetings are an opportunity to learn more about the implementation process and to ask any questions you may have.

To organize a meeting to present the model, contact coordination@pevc.org.

Youth protection services across the province can now benefit from training in the PEVC model through a partnership with Santé Québec. Training sessions open to professionals from other organizations are also offered on a regular basis, and registration is available through our calendar. It is also possible to contact us to arrange private training sessions.
